iPhone and iPad through TestFlight

  • ThinkOS has completed Apple's TestFlight review and is approved for public testing. We're distributing the iOS app through TestFlight for now because we're making rapid changes and want to deliver fixes and improvements quickly before the full App Store release.
  • Install Apple's free TestFlight app on your iPhone or iPad if you do not already have it, then open the ThinkOS public TestFlight link on that device and tap Accept or Install.
  • New ThinkOS builds appear in TestFlight as they are released. You can update manually or enable automatic updates in TestFlight. Expect frequent changes, occasional rough edges, and features that may move while the early release develops.
  • TestFlight builds are available for up to 90 days. We plan to keep a current build available, but if a build expires, return to TestFlight for the newest one.
  • Feedback is part of this early release: send notes from TestFlight, including screenshot feedback when useful, so we can reproduce issues and improve the next build.

Highlights

  • Find ToDos, FYIs, and Fun in one Feed, with a Done list and controls to reopen completed ToDos.
  • View interactive HTML artifacts inline, expand them, and save copies to a Sphere.
  • Choose Queue or Steer when sending a message during an active run.

Desktop

  • Find Spheres with a searchable switcher, Recent threads, and clearer Threads and Channels navigation.
  • See your conversation audience and change it from one menu, with clearer private-thread labels.
  • Personalize Spheres with colors and animated backgrounds.
  • Follow steadier run timelines that keep meaningful progress visible and group background steps under Thinking.

Shared Spheres

  • Open new shared threads immediately while sharing continues in the background, with draft recovery when posting fails.
  • Start contextual direct messages with Sphere members, including members with read-only access.
  • Recover shared Sphere access more reliably across computers, invitations, and rejoining.
  • See clearer explanations when sharing pauses or membership ends, and open retained copies read-only.

Reliability

  • Sphere posts save locally before cloud policy checks, with clearer held and failed delivery states.
  • Agent turns acknowledge requests earlier and recover message actions more reliably after interruptions.
  • Lower memory use during sync and saves helps prevent crashes in larger workspaces.
  • Workflow run history and scheduling improvements make missed runs and failures easier to track.

Updating

  • Interrupted update downloads and failed installs recover more reliably, with a restored desktop update indicator.
  • Packaged builds update from the configured beta channel.
