What is ThinkOS?
ThinkOS is an app for working with AI agents. You organize your work into Spheres, like a company, a client, or a project, and agents take on the work in each one. Your Chief Think Agent is the first agent you meet, and each Sphere can have a dedicated agent with its own accounts, tools, and approval rules.
What is a Chief Think Agent?
It's the first Think Agent you meet when you set up ThinkOS. It introduces itself, takes on whatever you hand it, and looks after anything that doesn't have an agent of its own. Hand it something ongoing and it can set up a Sphere with a dedicated agent for it. You can rename it or change its look by clicking its avatar.
What devices does ThinkOS work on?
ThinkOS runs on Mac, Windows, and Linux computers. The iPhone and iPad app is in public beta, and Android is in early testing. Your computer is home base: it keeps your memory and runs your agents, and your phone or tablet connects to it so you can keep working from anywhere. There's no browser version yet.
Who is ThinkOS for?
People and small teams who want AI to carry real work, not just answer questions. You don't need the command line or prompt engineering to get started. Technical users can go further with local models, their own provider accounts, and the bundled CLI.
What problem is ThinkOS solving?
AI tools are powerful, but most of them start from zero every time. Your context is scattered across chats, files, apps, and people, and nothing carries the work forward. ThinkOS gives agents lasting memory, real tools, and clear boundaries, so they can follow work through instead of answering one prompt at a time.
What do you mean by agentic workflows?
Repeatable jobs that agents carry forward for you: researching, drafting, following up, tracking, and checking. In ThinkOS you can watch every step, and anything that changes your records or acts on your behalf follows the approval rules you set.
Is ThinkOS only for developers?
No. You put agents to work by talking to them, and ThinkOS handles the setup around them. Developers get extra depth, including local models, their own provider accounts, and a CLI that lets other agents and tools operate ThinkOS.
How does ThinkOS use context?
Each Sphere keeps its own conversations, content, and memory, and agents work from the context of the Spheres they cover. Your Work Memory is stored on your computer as plain Markdown, with a record of where each memory came from. Private conversations stay private unless you choose to share them.
Why call it an AI operating system?
Because it's where you run your agents: who they are, what they work on, what they remember, which tools they can use, and when they need your approval. ThinkOS manages that layer so you can focus on the work.
How is ThinkOS different from existing AI tools?
Most AI tools keep your memory, workflows, and agent setup locked inside their own product. ThinkOS keeps them on your computer and works with the models you choose, so your agents and everything they've learned stay yours.
Is ThinkOS model-agnostic?
Yes. Run local models through Ollama, sign in with your Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok, or Cursor account, or add an OpenAI, Claude, or Venice API key. You can switch models without rebuilding your setup.
What will paid plans add?
ThinkOS is free to download and use on your computer. Paid plans add capacity and collaboration, such as more encrypted cloud sync and shared Spheres for teams.
Pricing
Does the Free plan include cloud sync?
Yes. Free includes encrypted cloud sync for your personal Spheres, up to 250 MB.
Does Plus unlock unlimited personal Spheres?
Personal Spheres are already unlimited locally. Plus gives you more encrypted cloud capacity and Companion pairing — not a separate “multiple synced personal Spheres” unlock.
Is Plus more private or secure than Free?
No. The same privacy and encryption principles apply on every plan. Plus adds capacity, continuity, and hosted services — not stronger fundamental security.
Do I need Plus to use AI models?
No. You can use local models or connect supported model accounts, API keys, and subscriptions on Free. Use ThinkOS credits for available hosted models. Included credits depend on your plan.
What happens if I reach my cloud sync limit?
Your local ThinkOS keeps working. Manage what is synchronized or upgrade for more cloud capacity.
Can I collaborate with other people on Free or Plus?
Yes. Free includes one shared Sphere with unlimited teammates and channels, with no sub-spheres. Plus adds sub-spheres; Team adds more shared Spheres. Invited members see only their shared Sphere and its descendants.
Do cloud computers cost extra?
Yes. Dedicated cloud computers are optional execution environments with separate plans based on their size and capabilities.
Does Free expire?
No. Free is a permanent plan. Its encrypted cloud allowance is capacity-limited, not time-limited, and local ThinkOS keeps working no matter what.
Can one person buy Team?
Yes. Team is $49/month for the workspace and includes three active members, so a solo founder can set up before inviting colleagues. Each additional member is $15/month, prorated when they join or leave. Agents and limited guests are never billed as members.
$THINK Token
What role does the $THINK token play in ThinkOS?
$THINK is an independently existing blockchain token that Think Lab, Inc. did not create or issue. ThinkOS allocates eligible net revenue to open-market THINK purchases (50%), eligible THINK stakers (40%), and points rewards (10%). Company and treasury wallets participate under the same staking rules and may receive a substantial share, potentially the largest. Those rewards may support company operations, taxes and reserves. The rewards guide explains the deductions, eligibility rules and calendar.
Did Think Lab, Inc. issue or control $THINK?
No. Think Lab, Inc. did not create, mint, or issue $THINK and was not responsible for its original distribution. Think Lab does not control the token contract or have authority to mint, burn, redeem, freeze, or change the supply of $THINK. Think Lab's product decisions can determine only whether and how ThinkOS independently recognizes public on-chain activity under final published terms; they do not change the token itself or give token holders equity, ownership, creditor, voting, or other corporate rights in Think Lab, Inc.
When do staking distributions begin?
Pre-Season covers October 1–December 31, 2026. Month 1 begins January 1, 2027, followed by UTC calendar months. January rewards and all Pre-Season staking rewards become claimable March 2, 2027. Subsequent monthly rewards become claimable 30 days after month-end.
Will there be a points drop around the ThinkOS launch?
Yes. A one-time allocation of 10,000 historical points recognizes eligible community staking from the token generation event (TGE) to January 1, 2027 at 00:00 UTC. Loyalty and Digital Soul multipliers each increase historical weight up to 2×. The allocation participates in January–March 2027, then retires. Company and treasury stakes are excluded.
Is the staking dashboard available?
Yes. The staking dashboard is available at /dashboard.
Think Agent Bundles / Digital Souls NFTs
What are Think Agent Bundles / Digital Souls?
Think Agent Bundles, which became Digital Souls when unbundled last year, are product-linked NFTs inside the ThinkOS ecosystem. Digital Souls connect agent identity to on-chain capabilities, provide Plus plan access when attached to an agent, and boost eligible historical staking weight.
How will Digital Souls be used in ThinkOS?
Attaching at least one eligible Digital Soul to a Think Agent covers your $15/month Plus plan while eligibility continues. The NFT stays in your wallet. One Digital Soul attaches to one agent at a time, and each agent has one active Digital Soul. Additional attachments do not multiply plan credits. ThinkOS computers remain separately paid.
Are Digital Souls connected to AI agent identity?
Yes. Digital Souls connect ThinkOS agents to on-chain identity. That identity can link agents to features, integrations, credentials, and partner-specific capabilities.
What kinds of partner capabilities can Digital Souls unlock?
Digital Souls create a basis for partner capabilities across metaverses and gaming groups, DeFi protocols, blockchains such as Wire Network, and similar ecosystems.
What details are still being finalized?
Supported collection contracts, attachment instructions, verification details and partner integrations will be published with the launch information. The Plus plan benefit and historical-points multiplier are decided; see the rewards guide for those rules.
Rewards and months
How ThinkOS rewards work, from revenue allocation and month dates to eligibility and claims.
Read the full rewards guide →Can I take part in rewards yet?
The existing staking dashboard is available, but rewards enrollment, wallet linking, points tracking and Digital Soul attachment are still coming. An existing referral link or attributed signup does not yet confirm points or retroactive Pre-Season credit. First USDC claims are scheduled for March 2, 2027. The rewards guide will link to instructions as each feature opens.
What funds rewards?
Collected subscription and paid-feature revenue after defined deductions, including sales taxes, refunds, chargebacks, payment-processing fees, actual ThinkOS computer infrastructure costs and company-paid program gas. Separately billed pass-through purchases, such as model credits and third-party compute, are excluded. Eligible net revenue is allocated 50% to open-market $THINK purchases, 40% to eligible stakers and 10% to points rewards.
When do reward months begin?
Reward months follow UTC calendar boundaries. Pre-Season runs October 1–December 31, 2026. Month 1 begins January 1, 2027, with historical points and launch referral rates continuing through March 2027.
How are staking rewards shared?
By token-days: the amount of eligible $THINK staked, multiplied by how long it remained staked during the month. Company and treasury wallets follow the same rules and may receive a substantial share, potentially the largest share.
What are historical points?
A one-time allocation of 10,000 points for eligible community stakers, based on staking from the token generation event (TGE) to January 1, 2027 at 00:00 UTC. Loyalty and Digital Soul multipliers each increase historical weight up to 2×. These points participate in the first three months, then retire from payout calculations.
Is there a wallet-linking deadline?
Yes. Link and verify wallets for historical points before January 1, 2027 at 00:00 UTC. Linking later does not recalculate the allocation. Enrollment instructions will be published before enrollment opens.
How do referral points work?
Only qualifying payments from a referred customer count. Rates are 8 points per qualifying net dollar in Pre-Season, 4 in January–March 2027 and 1 afterward, for 12 months from that customer's first successful payment. Pre-Season points count once, in January. Signups alone and refunded payments do not qualify.
How do Digital Souls cover a plan?
Attaching at least one eligible Digital Soul to a Think Agent covers your $15/month Plus plan while eligibility continues. Computers remain separately paid. The NFT stays in your wallet. For existing paid subscribers, the benefit applies at the next billing cycle, including annual renewals, with no prorated refund or account credit.
What is a point worth?
Points have no fixed dollar value. An eligible account's reward depends on its share of all eligible points in that month and the size of the 10% points bucket. Points cannot be sold, sent or traded.
How do claims work?
Staking and points rewards are paid in USDC on Ethereum mainnet, starting 30 days after each month ends, with a one-year claim window for each monthly reward. First claims open March 2, 2027 for January and all Pre-Season staking rewards. You can combine multiple months in one claim, and you pay the gas in ETH.
Does the company receive rewards?
Company and treasury wallets participate in the 40% staking pool under the same rules and may receive a substantial share, potentially the largest. They are excluded from the 10,000 historical community points.
