iPhone and iPad through TestFlight

  • ThinkOS has completed Apple's TestFlight review and is approved for public testing. We're distributing the iOS app through TestFlight for now because we're making rapid changes and want to deliver fixes and improvements quickly before the full App Store release.
  • Install Apple's free TestFlight app on your iPhone or iPad if you do not already have it, then open the ThinkOS public TestFlight link on that device and tap Accept or Install.
  • New ThinkOS builds appear in TestFlight as they are released. You can update manually or enable automatic updates in TestFlight. Expect frequent changes, occasional rough edges, and features that may move while the early release develops.
  • TestFlight builds are available for up to 90 days. We plan to keep a current build available, but if a build expires, return to TestFlight for the newest one.
  • Feedback is part of this early release: send notes from TestFlight, including screenshot feedback when useful, so we can reproduce issues and improve the next build.

Highlights

  • View interactive HTML artifacts in conversations, follow their latest revisions, and save copies to a Sphere.
  • Manage ToDos, FYIs, and Fun in one Feed, with a Done list and controls to reopen completed ToDos.
  • Choose Queue or Steer when sending a message during an active run.

Desktop

  • Find Spheres with a searchable sidebar switcher and personalize them with colors and animated backgrounds.
  • Place attachments inline in your message and preview Brain images and local videos.
  • Follow steadier run timelines that keep meaningful progress visible and fold background steps into Thinking.

Shared Spheres

  • See Threads and Channels separately, start contextual direct messages with members, and leave shared Spheres from desktop.
  • Open shared thread starts immediately while sharing continues in the background, with clearer audience labels and failed-post recovery.
  • Access shared Spheres more reliably across your computers, with improved invitation, rejoining, and device approval flows.

Reliability

  • Sphere posts save locally before cloud policy checks, and held messages show more accurate delivery status.
  • Recover more reliably from interrupted replies, sync failures, and paused sharing.
  • Reduce memory use during idle sync and keep a Sphere worker running out of memory from crashing the app.

Updating

  • Interrupted update downloads can finish on retry, with clearer install failure recovery.
  • Packaged builds update from the configured beta channel.
  • Download the latest macOS installer
