iPhone and iPad through TestFlight

  • ThinkOS has completed Apple's TestFlight review and is approved for public testing. We're distributing the iOS app through TestFlight for now because we're making rapid changes and want to deliver fixes and improvements quickly before the full App Store release.
  • Install Apple's free TestFlight app on your iPhone or iPad if you do not already have it, then open the ThinkOS public TestFlight link on that device and tap Accept or Install.
  • New ThinkOS builds appear in TestFlight as they are released. You can update manually or enable automatic updates in TestFlight. Expect frequent changes, occasional rough edges, and features that may move while the early release develops.
  • TestFlight builds are available for up to 90 days. We plan to keep a current build available, but if a build expires, return to TestFlight for the newest one.
  • Feedback is part of this early release: send notes from TestFlight, including screenshot feedback when useful, so we can reproduce issues and improve the next build.

Highlights

  • Organize ToDos, FYIs, and Fun in one Feed, with a Done list and controls to reopen completed ToDos.
  • View interactive HTML artifacts inside threads and save Sphere copies with encrypted app data.
  • Choose Queue or Steer when sending a message during an active run.

Desktop

  • Find Spheres with a searchable sidebar switcher and personalize them with colors and animated backgrounds.
  • Add attachments inline in your message and preview Brain images and local videos.
  • Follow a steadier run timeline that emphasizes meaningful steps and collapses in place.

Shared Spheres

  • Open new shared threads immediately while sharing completes in the background, with draft recovery when posting fails.
  • See clearer audience labels and keep private drafts private when changing who can see a conversation.
  • Start contextual direct messages with Sphere members, including when you have read-only access.
  • Leave shared Spheres or open retained copies read-only after removal, with clearer explanations of sharing restrictions.

Reliability

  • Shared Spheres appear more reliably across your computers, with improved invitation recovery and rejoining.
  • Sync status more clearly explains paused sharing, failed delivery, and available recovery actions.
  • Reduced memory use and improved save handling help keep the app responsive during background sync.
  • Interrupted update downloads and failed installations recover more reliably on retry.
