iPhone and iPad through TestFlight

  • ThinkOS has completed Apple's TestFlight review and is approved for public testing. We're distributing the iOS app through TestFlight for now because we're making rapid changes and want to deliver fixes and improvements quickly before the full App Store release.
  • Install Apple's free TestFlight app on your iPhone or iPad if you do not already have it, then open the ThinkOS public TestFlight link on that device and tap Accept or Install.
  • New ThinkOS builds appear in TestFlight as they are released. You can update manually or enable automatic updates in TestFlight. Expect frequent changes, occasional rough edges, and features that may move while the early release develops.
  • TestFlight builds are available for up to 90 days. We plan to keep a current build available, but if a build expires, return to TestFlight for the newest one.
  • Feedback is part of this early release: send notes from TestFlight, including screenshot feedback when useful, so we can reproduce issues and improve the next build.

Highlights

  • Find ToDos, FYIs, and Fun in one Feed, with a Done list and controls to reopen or remove ToDos.
  • View inline HTML artifacts in conversations, expand them, and save copies to a Sphere.
  • Choose Queue or Steer when sending a message during an active run.

Desktop

  • Find Spheres with a searchable sidebar switcher, Recent threads, and clearer Threads and Channels sections.
  • Start contextual direct messages with shared Sphere members, including members with read-only access.
  • See clearer conversation audiences and private-thread labels, with attachments placed inline in the composer.
  • Personalize Spheres with colors and animated backgrounds, and adjust the desktop palette.

Companion Sync

  • Discover and open shared Spheres more reliably across your computers, including newly approved devices.
  • Recover accepted invitations and rejoin shared Spheres more reliably while retaining earlier posts.
  • Keep collaboration names and emoji preferences consistent across devices.

Reliability

  • See clearer paused-sharing and delivery failure messages, with recovery actions when sync needs attention.
  • Keep using the app when a Sphere sync worker runs out of memory, while it backs off before retrying.
  • Follow steadier run timelines that keep meaningful steps visible and fold background activity into Thinking.
  • Retry interrupted update downloads and failed installations more reliably.
