iPhone and iPad through TestFlight

  • ThinkOS has completed Apple's TestFlight review and is approved for public testing. We're distributing the iOS app through TestFlight for now because we're making rapid changes and want to deliver fixes and improvements quickly before the full App Store release.
  • Install Apple's free TestFlight app on your iPhone or iPad if you do not already have it, then open the ThinkOS public TestFlight link on that device and tap Accept or Install.
  • New ThinkOS builds appear in TestFlight as they are released. You can update manually or enable automatic updates in TestFlight. Expect frequent changes, occasional rough edges, and features that may move while the early release develops.
  • TestFlight builds are available for up to 90 days. We plan to keep a current build available, but if a build expires, return to TestFlight for the newest one.
  • Feedback is part of this early release: send notes from TestFlight, including screenshot feedback when useful, so we can reproduce issues and improve the next build.

Highlights

  • Find ToDos, FYIs, and Fun in one Feed, with a Done list and controls to reopen or remove ToDos.
  • View interactive HTML artifacts inside conversations, expand them, and save copies to a Sphere.
  • Choose Queue or Steer when sending during a run, and return queued messages to their thread's draft for editing.

Desktop

  • Find Spheres faster with a searchable switcher, Recent threads, and clearer Threads and Channels navigation.
  • Personalize Spheres with colors and animated backgrounds, and adjust the desktop palette.
  • Follow meaningful run steps in a steadier timeline, with less background sync clutter.
  • View workflow run history and run scheduled workflows on demand while preserving their scheduled time.

Companion Sync

  • Access shared Spheres across your computers with improved invitation and device approval recovery.
  • Start contextual 1:1 messages with shared Sphere members, including members with read-only access.
  • See clearer conversation audiences, pending invitations, and paused sharing status.

Reliability

  • Reduce memory use during syncing and keep a Sphere sync worker's memory failure from crashing the app.
  • Recover more reliably from interrupted message delivery, stale state, and Slack disconnections.
  • Retry interrupted update downloads and failed installs with clearer update status.

Updating
